Brooklyn-based artist Jamison Hastings delivers a distinctive baritone voice that booms over his eclectic style of foot-stomping electric blues, front porch Midwestern folk, and swampy psychedelia.His debut EP, Youngblood, released in 2024, has drawn comparisons to artists like Junior Kimbrough, The Black Keys, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and Dr. John. That same grit and groove fuel his live sets—filled with stomp, swamp, sway, and low-slung heat.A seasoned live performer, Hastings has captivated audiences in New York City and Detroit with spellbinding sets at intimate venues and indie festivals, including Pete's Candy Store, Parkside Lounge, Small's, Hamtramck Music Festival, and PJ's Lager House. When he's not performing solo with his guitar and suitcase drum, he is accompanied by a rotating ensemble of talented musicians—most often a drummer, bassist, and keyboardist.
